Hemorrhoids
Hemorrhoids, often known as piles, are groups of veins in and around the lower rectum that, when put under pressure, can swell and bleed. They hurt when they swell or protrude and are similar to varicose veins. Within the rectum or beneath the skin around the anus, hemorrhoids can form.
Rectal prolapse
Rectal prolapse occurs when the rectal wall protrudes past the anus. This can affect all of the layers of the intestinal wall or just a portion of the rectal wall (mucosal prolapse) (full-thickness prolapse). Internal prolapse, which is a major cause of obstructed defecation, is defined as a prolapse that is only internal and does not prolapse outside of the anus.
Urinary incontinence
Unintentional or involuntary urination is a widespread issue called urinary incontinence that affects millions of individuals worldwide.
Pilonidal cyst
A pilonidal cyst is a round sac of tissue. This common type of cyst is located in the crease of the buttocks and is usually caused by skin infection.
The anal fistula
An infected tube connecting the skin and the anal entrance is known as an anal fistula. The most common cause is an infection in the anal gland that progresses to an abscess, which is a swelling pocket of infected tissue and fluid. The diseased gland is connected to the fistula, which creates a tunnel under the skin. The anus’s tiny glands, can develop infections and create mucus, An anal fistula can result from infections that don’t heal properly.
Levator Ani Syndrome
Levator ani syndrome is regarded as a subtype of “pelvic pain,” a more general category of pain. In general, pelvic pain is regarded as a neuropathic disorder, which means that the pain is brought on by nerve injury that results in pain in the surrounding area. On the other hand, Levator ani syndrome is a combination of neuropathic and muscle pain, making it considerably more difficult to distinguish from other types of pain. It is unclear whether the nerve injury came first or whether the muscular dysfunction did. In either case, neither pathology can be effectively treated to effectively treat levator ani syndrome.
Gastric Plication
The stomach is reduced in size by about 75% during gastric plication surgery, sometimes referred to as laparoscopic gastric greater curvature plication or gastric imbrication. The outside, curved portion of the stomach is “tucked in” during the treatment, which prompts the patient to stop eating sooner. This approach is an option for both initial weight reduction surgery and r H.Crepitus
Any grinding, creaking, cracking, grating, crunching, or popping that happens when moving a joint is known as crepitus, also known as crepitation (keep-i-stay-shen). Crepitus can strike anyone at any age, although as people age, it seems to happen more frequently.
Crohn's disease
The illness is known as Crohn’s disease results in intestinal inflammation and ulceration. The colon, rectum, small intestine, and anus are only a few of the digestive tract’s various organs that may be impacted. The colon and the last segment of the small intestine (ileum) are the most frequently impacted organs. The inflammation causes the gut to narrow, resulting in blockage, perforation, infection, and/or a hole in the colon. Other bodily tissues, including the skin, liver, eyes, and bone joints, can become inflamed in some patients. Crohn’s disease can be painful and crippling, and therapy for it is ongoing. Skin tag
A skin tag is a little growth or patch of skin that is superficial and does not look like the skin around it. Skin tag removal is a cosmetic technique that seeks to get rid of this skin development near the surface. The procedure is carried out to remove the tag that could eventually cause discomfort. Sometimes, skin tags may contain malignant skin cells, which can be fatal. However, the main objective of the surgery is to eliminate the tags, which will lessen any physical discomfort they may cause.
Fissures
When you pass hard stools during a bowel movement, you may develop an anal fissure, which is a tiny tear in the delicate, wet tissue that lines the anus. Both bleeding and unpleasant bowel movements are possible. Even hours after using the restroom, the pain can still be there.
Rectal incontinence
Fecal (Bowel) Incontinence
Fecal incontinence, also called anal incontinence, is a term used when bowel motion cannot be controlled. Stool (feces/waste) leaks out the rectum at unwanted times. Depending on the cause, treatment can include one or more of these approaches: dietary changes, bowel training, medications, or surgery.
